Penn State Basketball hosts Seton Hall at the Bryce Jordan Center, in an 8:00 p.m. Sunday on Big Ten Network

Penn State Basketball looks for win No. 3 in the 2020 College Basketball season, when the Nittany Lions host Seton Hall at 8:00 p.m. Sunday night at the Bryce Jordan Center on Big Ten Network

Well, we’ve seen an increase in our competition each game thus far.

Sunday night will be no exception (and Tuesday will continue that trend for Penn State hoops).  But, tonight is a big game as our Nittany Lions host the Seton Hall Pirates.

Seton Hall comes in 1-3 on the year, but don’t be fooled, this will be the biggest test thus far for PSU.  Seton Hall comes in at No. 60 in KenPom, just two slots below Penn State and the Nittany Lions currently a 2.5 point favorite, moving up a full point from the opening 1.5 point line.

Seton Hall opened the year with a one point loss at Louisville and a 22 point win hosting Iona.  Seton Hall was then upset by Rhode Island 76-63, a surprising result in their early season.  They hung tough with #21 Oregon on Friday but fell 83-70.

The last time Penn State faced off the Pirates was an overtime thriller in the BJC, with Penn State winning 89-86.  Overall, Penn State leads the series 5-1, 4-0 at home.
