Former Penn State Football tight end Mike Gesicki caught his ninth career touchdown for the Miami Dolphins Sunday

Former Penn State Football tight end Mike Gesicki has been in the midst of the most productive season of his NFL career, and added another touchdown reception Sunday afternoon against the Cincinnati Bengals.

With 11:41 remaining in the third quarter, and Miami trailing 7-6, Gesicki broke open on a post pattern in the back of the end zone, and made an athletic catch from quarterback Tua Tagovailoa, over a defender and got both feet down in bounds for his fourth touchdown grab of the season.

On pace for career-highs in receptions, yards, and touchdowns, Gesicki has already caught 30 passes for 449 yards and three touchdowns, entering Sunday’s game.

Gesicki was chosen by the Dolphins in the second-round of the 2018 NFL Draft. He has blossomed into one of Miami’s most reliable targets in the passing game.
