Trace McSorley is the only healthy QB on the Ravens’ roster, and the former Penn State Football star might make his first career NFL start vs. the Dallas Cowboys

Former Penn State Football quarterback Trace McSorley could be in line to make his first career start Tuesday night against the Dallas Cowboys.

McSorley, fresh off tossing his first career touchdown pass in Baltimore’s loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers on Wednesday afternoon, is the only healthy quarterback currently on the Ravens’ 53-man roster entering Week 13 of the NFL season.

The Ravens added Robert Griffin III to injured reserve, after injuring his hamstring in Pittsburgh, giving way to McSorley in the fourth quarter.

"“We stay active, and we’re working all the time,” McSorley said, via PennLive. “I was happy that it was able to kind of come to fruition.”"

Reigning NFL MVP Lamar Jackson remains on the COVID-19/reserve list, so his availability for Tuesday’s game remains uncertain. Until Jackson returns, McSorley appears in line to take the first-team reps in practice.

In his most extensive run in the NFL, McSorley completed 2-of-6 passes for 77 yards and a touchdown. McSorley’s 121.5 passer rating is the highest in the NFL.

The Ravens host the Cowboys at 8:05 p.m. Tuesday.
