James Franklin’s Demeanor

Coach James Franklin just doesn’t look the same on the sidelines. And not just because he’s wearing a mask.

Franklin is usually a fiery guy, running up and down the sideline, celebrating with his players after a big play, yelling after a bad one.

You just don’t see much of that this year. Now, he is wearing a mask, so it’s hard to tell what he may be saying, but from a body language standpoint, he doesn’t look the same.

Franklin did note in a press conference last week that he is struggling with some personal matters. One of his daughters is high-risk, so his wife and two daughters are currently living in Florida.

No one can blame him for feeling this way. 2020 has been hard on everyone, and not having your family there can make it even worse.

It seems as if Franklin’s attitude may be rubbing off on everyone else, as the juice just isn’t there for the team.
