Penn State Basketball Official announced some non-conference schedule games Monday.

Penn State Basketball’s 2021 regular season is right around the corner, and the Nittany Lions Monday announced this year’s slate of nonconference games:

Penn State had previously announced games with Drexel and VCU.  Sunday, news about a potential matchup versus VMI, coached by former PSU guard Dan Earl.

Seton Hall rumors have been abound all off season, and the Pirates will in fact travel to State College to take on the Nittany Lions in early December.

All four previously rumored games are official, along with the previously announced road game at Virginia Tech in the B1G-ACC Challenge.

Here is a look at Penn State’s non-conference schedule:

Wednesday November 25th — Drexel at Penn State

Saturday November 28 — VMI at Penn State

Tuesday December 2nd — VCU at Penn State

Sunday December 6th — Seton Hall at Penn State

Tuesday December 8th — Penn State at Virginia Tech

All times and television channels will be announced soon.  No fans will be allowed in the Bryce Jordan Center at this point, due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.  After Penn State finished last season 21-10 under former head coach Patrick Chambers, Jim Ferry will lead the Nittany Lions in his first season head coaching since 2017 (a 10-22 finish at Duquesne).
