Penn State Football looks to even up all-time series vs. Nebraska
By Brad Weiss
Penn State Football heads to Memorial Stadium to take on Nebraska Saturday, looking to even up the all-time series against the Cornhuskers.
It has been a rough start to the 2020 college football season for both Penn State Football and Nebraska, two proud programs who have combined to go 0-5 through their first five games.
On Saturday, one of these teams will put one in the win column, as they battle it out inside Memorial Stadium in a Big Ten clash.
Nebraska has played one less game than the Nittany Lions due to the fact that they had their matchup against No. 9 Wisconsin canceled due to COVID-19. Penn State has played their full slate of games, but they have had no luck, losing the opener to Indiana, and then getting blasted by both Ohio State and Maryland.
In the history of these two programs, the Cornhuskers hold a 9-8 lead, so Penn State will be looking to even up the series with a win on Saturday. Penn State is a team that has a lot of talent on both sides of the ball, but have yet to put four quarters of football together, but a trip to Nebraska could be just what they need to get their season back on track.
Let us take a look back at this series as we inch closer to Saturday afternoon.
