6. All the back up safeties

Even though everyone was granted an extra year of eligibility, it is expected that both of Penn State’s starting safeties, Lamont Wade and Jaquan Brisker will move on after the season.

Replacing both of your starting safeties isn’t easy, especially with the way Penn State opens the 2021 season.

The group includes Jonathan Sutherland, Ji’Ayir Brown, Trent Gordon and Tyler Rudolph. Getting these guys in the game when possible will be crucial for their development and Penn State’s 2021 season.
