The difficulty this matchup presents might come down to the outcome of Penn State’s game Saturday against Maryland.

Nebraska was trounced by Ohio State 52-17 in their opener, and has last week’s contest against Wisconsin canceled due to the Badgers’ COVID-19 outbreak that ripped through the program.

This is a rebuilding year for Scott Frost’s Cornhuskers, and depending on Saturday’s Penn State contest, it could wind up being one for James Franklin’s Nittay Lions as well.

However, Penn State has the deeper and more talented roster, and that should help them avoid a road upset.
