Penn State Football has dominated the rivalry against Maryland, and are favorites Saturday, but here are three Terrapins they need to worry about.

Starting the season out at 0-2, Penn State Football needs to desperately put a mark in the win column this weekend when they welcome the Maryland Terrapins to Beaver Stadium.

Penn State has not gotten out to an 0-2 start since 2012, but they have dominated this rivalry in the past, and hope that trend continues on Saturday.

The Terrapins come into this game fresh off a stunning victory against Minnesota, one that saw them get a huge effort from sophomore quarterback Taulia Tagovailoa. The win moved them to 1-1 on the young season, but they will need a total team effort if they are going to beat a Penn State team that is a huge favorite in this one.

Here are three Terrapins that Penn State needs to worry about Saturday.

Linebacker Chance Campbell

Penn State has the weapons on offense to score in bunches, and against Maryland, they should easy sledding. Maryland has given up at least 40 points in each of their first two games, so it is not like the Nittany Lions will be going up against the 1986 Chicago Bears, but there is one player they need to worry about on that side of the ball.

Chance Campbell currently leads the FBS in tackles per game, as he is racking up an incredible 14 per contest. In addition, he is averaging 7.5 solo tackles per game, and his two game total of 28 tackles is the highest of any Terrapins defender in the last six years.

In his third season at Maryland, Campbell has become the leader of this defense, and after finishing fifth in tackles as a sophomore last season, he is on pace to lead this team in that category going away in 2020.
