No. 8 ranked Penn State Football opens the 2020 Big Ten Season on Saturday against the Indiana Hoosiers.

The No. 8 ranked Penn State Football Nittany Lions, led by quarterback Sean Clifford, running back Noah Cain, and tight end Pat Freiermuth travel to Bloomington, Ind. Saturday (Oct. 24) to take on the Indiana Hoosiers in Week 1 of the Big Ten season at 3:30 p.m. on FS1.

Penn State Football head coach James Franklin leads a talented roster, coming off an 11-win season in two of the past three years and a New Year’s Six victory in the 2020 Cotton Bowl over Memphis.

This series has been dominated by the Nittany Lions, but head coach Tom Allen typically has the Hoosiers punching above their weight, and this year’s team might be the most talented of his tenure.

Winners of 21 of 22 meetings all-time against the Hoosiers, and six of seven at Memorial Stadium, Penn State looks to survive Week 1 without a potential upset at the hands of Tom Allen’s scrappy and talented team that has given B1G opponents all they can handle in recent seasons.
