Penn State Football’s Week 1 depth chart offered some surprises, and some clues for what to expect against Indiana and the 2020 Big Ten Season

The long awaited season opener is only days away Penn State Football travels to Bloomington to take on the Indiana Hoosiers Saturday, Oct. 24 at 3:30pm.

Finally! … It’s here.

Before kickoff, lets take a look at some key things we learned as Penn State Football released it’s first depth chart.

Let’s start with the devastating news that star tailback Journey Brown may miss the entire season due to an undisclosed health condition. Besides what it means to the depth chart, this is heartbreaking news for the redshirt junior who was a dark-horse Heisman candidate.

Losing Brown is undoubtedly a blow, however the Nittany Lions’ RB room is deep.  Returning sophomore Noah Cain is slated to be the starter with Devyn Ford behind him sure to be counted on to produce.  Two names to watch are true freshmen Coziah Holes and Keyvone Lee. Holmes has turned heads in camp and will dawn #26…..a number Penn State fans might be familiar with.

While running back might be the strongest position on the roster, the wide receiver room is young, but offers plenty of upside.
