C Michael Menet

Menet was added to the Rimington Trophy watch list, as one of the nation’s premier centers this week, and for good reason.

As Pro Football Focus pointed out, prior to his injury last season,  Menet allowed just 15 pressures on his 434 pass-blocking snaps despite seeing some feared interior pass-rushers.

Optimism about Penn State’s offense, that might not be loaded with speed on the outside and is depending on Sean Clifford making big strides, is largely fueled by the expectation that the veteran offensive line finally reaches its potential. Menet will play a key role in that.
