Penn State football is off to a much stronger start in 2022 recruiting than in the 2021 class, but the Nittany Lions still have needs to fill

Penn State football‘s 2022 recruiting class is off to a hot start. The six commit class currently ranks third nationally.

The class is made up of five 4-star recruits, two of whom are tight ends, which is vital considering Penn State doesn’t have a tight end commit in 2021. The only non 4-star commit, is Beau Pribula, who is the top ranked quarterback in Pennsylvania for 2022. He is off to a hot start this season and Penn State could be 6-6 for 4-star commits relatively soon.

Despite the hot start, there’s still work to be done, here are the five positions Penn State needs to prioritize in the class.
