Where will Penn State land in the AP Top 25 rankings after Week 5 of College Football?

James Franklin and the Penn State Nittany Lions haven’t begun their Big Ten schedule yet, won’t kickoff until Oct. 24 against Indiana, but could be moving up the rankings after a Saturday slate that featured several upsets and top-ranked teams going down.

Even without All-American linebacker Micah Parsons, the Nittany Lions have yet to reach the College Football Playoff, but are positioned in the rankings to make a push for the program’s first berth if they handle their business during the season.

Penn State entered Week 5 of the college football season ranked No. 10 in the Associated Press Top 25 poll, but stand to benefit from Georgia’s blowout victory over Auburn and the Texas Longhorns falling to unranked TCU.

So, how far will the Nittany Lions climb this week, despite having not playing a game yet?
