. . . OFFENSIVE LINE . C-

It was a rough day for the offensive line, which was expected as they had to go up against Chase Young and the dominant Ohio State defense.

Ohio State had five sacks and nine tackles for loss in the game. Two of those sacks came all the way at the end of the game when Will Levis was trying to make something big happen and holding onto the ball too long, but it’s still insane how much pressure the Buckeyes were able to generate.

With the rushing offense, the offensive line did an okay job, as Penn State had 99 rushing yards on 36 carries. As I stated before, these rushing stats are a lot better than shown on the box score, as the sack yards piled up.

The offensive line was a disaster with penalties, the worst they’ve been all season. They had four false start penalties, including two in a row on what was originally a fourth and two with 3:14 left in the game.

While the offensive line didn’t play well, in their defense, I’m not sure a single team’s offensive line will against Ohio State all season.
