Penn State football hits the road for a Big Ten showdown this week against the Ohio State Buckeyes.

The matchup many have been waiting for is finally here. Penn State football will take the trip over to Columbus, Ohio, for their most challenging game to date. Many expected Ohio State to be a powerhouse in 2019, so their progress thus far has not been a shock.

However, many didn’t expect Penn State to be as good they are as well. With only a single loss against Minnesota, Penn State has made themselves relevant within the college football playoff conversation. Obviously, their one loss didn’t help them any, but the Nittany Lions can climb their way back into playoff relevancy with a stunner over Ohio State.

To no surprise, the Buckeyes are heavily favored in this matchup, as they have proven to be one of college football’s best programs in 2019. As Penn State travels to Columbus as the visitors and could be without some of their top playmakers, the Nittany Lions are definitely going to have their hands full in this one.
