Penn State Football: Grades vs. Indiana

It wasn’t the offensive line’s best day at all, as they allowed Indiana to have three sacks and six QB hurries. That’s a lot to let up against a team like Indiana. As mentioned earlier, the offensive line also missed a block which led to the Sean Clifford fumble.

In terms of rushing offense, the Nittany Lions had 45 carries for 192 yards and three touchdowns. The offensive line played well in that aspect of the game.

Additionally, Penn State only had one penalty in the game which was an intentional grounding call on Sean Clifford. This means that the offensive line had no penalties this week, another positive aspect of this performance for them.

While the offensive line played poorly protecting the quarterback, they recovered with a nice performance in the two other important areas of offensive line grading.
