With Noah Cain sidelined once again due to injury, Journey Brown stepped up once again. Brown ran for 100 yards and a touchdown on 21 carries, marking the second straight game that he’s ran for at least 100 yards and at least one touchdown. Brown’s touchdown was a 35-yarder.
Trailing 20-14 in the 3rd quarter, @IndianaFootball lined up to punt, then went for it but failed.

Additionally, Brown helped out in the passing game, as he caught two passes for 20 yards. Playing the backup role, Devyn Ford made the most of his time on the field tallying 38 yards on eight carries.
Ricky Slade had one carry for one yard, and a catch for 18. Despite not making the most of his rushing attempts this year, Slade has been a nice pass catcher out of the backfield this season. I wouldn’t be opposed to getting creative and lining him up in the slot on some plays the rest of this season, as I think he can be effective in that role.
The running backs will face arguably their toughest task of the season next weekend, as Ohio State allows the sixth-least yards against the run in the FBS (90.4 per game).
