Penn State football is set to take on Michigan this weekend for the white-out. Which Nittany Lions are key to a victory?

This week has been circled around Penn State football fan’s calendars for months! As the planned white-out is taking place, there’s obviously plenty of reason to be excited for this rivalry matchup against the Michigan Wolverines.

But considering the circumstances in this matchup, this game is actually a lot more critical than we initially thought it was going to be. When the schedules came out, nobody knew what to expect from both Penn State and Michigan.

While many realized Penn State had a somewhat easy schedule at the beginning of the year, nobody could still really get over the fact that they are a young team with a lot of missing experience. Therefore, predicting they would be undefeated favorites against Michigan for Week 8 was kind of out the question before the year started.

Meanwhile, many thought that the roles would be reversed, and Michigan would be an undefeated, consensus top-ten team — but a loss to Wisconsin derailed that plan. Now, Penn State has the opportunity to make it two losses for Michigan with a win over the Wolverines this week. Which five players will be key to making that happen?
