Penn State football will travel to Iowa for their second road game of the season this week. Which five players are key to another Big Ten win?

The fun and games are over for Penn State football. Not to take anything away from their current progress of being a 5-0 team, which considers them to be a top ten program in the nation right now. But Penn State’s ‘cupcake’ part of the schedule is out of the way.

With games against Idaho, Pittsburgh, Buffalo, Maryland, and Purdue, many considered Penn State’s first five games as a walk in the park. Considering the point differential between Penn State and its opponents during that time, we can’t really deny that fact.

Those games were against easy opponents. Penn State was expected to win all five, and they did just that. With those games in the past, though, the tough part of the schedule is approaching. Now, Penn State will get truly tested by one of their stricter conference opponents against Iowa.

Can Penn State go on the road and bring their sixth win back to Happy Valley? It’s do-able, but that remains to be seen. This week, the offense can’t stall out, and the defense has to continue to dominate by keeping the opposition out of the end zone. It won’t be easy, and the Nittany Lions will need a substantial effort from five key players in order to come away with the win on Saturday. So which five players are key to win this week?
