Penn State football is set to take on Purdue this week at home for their second Big Ten matchup of the season.

The first set of Big Ten action didn’t go so bad for Penn State football last week. As a matter of fact, they passed their first conference test with flying covers. After defeating Maryland 59-0 on the road, Penn State has the opportunity to head back home to take on Purdue.

For the first time since 2013, Purdue will visit the Lions in Happy Valley. This weekend, Penn State will look to increase its impressive win streak over the Boilermakers as they attempt to keep their record flawless by moving to 5-0 on the season.

While Penn State was already viewed as the favorites to win this one, the odds might’ve increased as Purdue received some unfortunate news on the injury front. This week, the Boilermakers will miss a handful of players, one of which, includes their starting quarterback.

Can Penn State keep their impressive streak alive in front of the home crowd on Saturday? Or will they fail to take their opponent seriously and fall into a trap game? We’ll see soon enough. Plan on watching Penn State versus Purdue on Saturday? Here’s everything you need to know!
