Penn State football heavily linked to 4-Star WR KeAndre Lambert
Penn State football has been linked to four-star wide receiver, KeAndre Lambert quite a few times over the last couple of weeks.
When will Penn State football land their next commitment for the 2020 recruiting class? It could be early as Wednesday morning — or even later on in the year. You truly never know as the commitment announcements tend to come out of nowhere most of the time.
However, some of the highly-touted prospects tend their make their decisions a bit of an event. They plan a date and decide to announce their move through a live press conference, or a unique video to post online. Penn State had a few commits do something similar this year as they racked up prospects for their 2020 class.
This week, another major name on the 2020 recruiting trail has an announcement planned — and Penn State football happens to be in the mix for this one. On Friday, four-star wide receiver KeAndre Lambert plans to announce his commitment decision at his school’s pep rally.
Maury High School in Norfolk, Virginia will get the first word of Lambert’s decision. And in just a couple of days, the nation’s 31st ranked wide receiver for the 2020 class will be ready for the next step in his football career for next season.
Penn State is in the equation, and it sounds like they are even favored, too. While North Carolina, Clemson, and Virginia Tech remain in the final four as well, recruiting experts seem to like Penn State’s chances of landing Lambert’s commitment.
247 Sports’ Steve Wiltfong recently offered updates on some of the nation’s top recruits, who are making decisions soon. For Lambert, Wiltfong mentions, “The 247Sports Crystal Ball continues to pick up steam in favor of the Nittany Lions.” With eight insider predictions marked down, Penn State currently possesses all eight picks in terms of predictions.
Lambert could end up becoming the fourth wide receiver to join the Nittany Lions in 2020 if he does in fact, decide to choose Happy Valley on Friday. The Norfolk product would be Penn State’s biggest score at the position, and would likely rank out as the second-best prospect to commit in the class. At this point, James Franklin and company must have their fingers crossed.
