2. KJ Hamler, WR

It doesn’t come as a secret that Penn State’s wide receiver KJ Hamler is one of, if not, the best player on the offense. Any time he touches the ball, there’s always a chance he sparks up a big play. Over the last couple of weeks though, he’s been a bit quiet.

That’s not entirely his fault, though. Ever since the Idaho matchup, Sean Clifford and KJ Hamler haven’t been on the same page. Just last week, there were multiple opportunities that they had to make a play together, but Hamler was overthrown on the deep ball.

It goes beyond just catching the deep shot though. Earlier this week, Penn State head coach James Franklin vowed to get Hamler the ball more often. As he can snag some handoffs, some quick throws, medium throws, and the home-run plays, Hamler will more than likely garner a few more plays designed for him this week as he’s a significant threat to the defense.
