. . . WIDE RECEIVERS AND TIGHT ENDS . B-

The wide receivers and tight ends didn’t do much in Saturday’s game. None of them had an overwhelmingly good game.

K.J Hamler led all Penn State receivers with 68 yards on three catches. Justin Shorter still hasn’t had his break out performance as he hauled in two catches for 29 yards. Jahan Dotson had two receptions for 21 yards. The only other receiver to catch a pass was Cam Sullivan-Brown, who had one catch for eight yards.

In terms of the tight ends, Pat Freiermuth wasn’t very involved after having eight catches and two touchdowns vs. Buffalo. Freiermuth only had one catch for 16 yards.

To add to the lack of production from the wide receivers and tight ends, there were a few dropped passes as well. The lack of output doesn’t fall entirely on the receivers and tight ends, as a lot of the passes were overthrown. However, it still wasn’t their best day.
