C. . . . OFFENSIVE LINE

This was a concerning performance from the offensive line compared to last week. Penn State only was able to rush for 90 yards in the game, which is far below where they want to be. To put things in perspective, Penn State rushed for 331 yards vs. Idaho.

In addition, Sean Clifford was sacked three times, and Buffalo had a total of seven tackles for loss. That’s inexcusable against a MAC team.

The Penn State offensive line also had two first-half penalties. One was a holding call, and the other was an ineligible man downfield.

Overall, the offensive line was just nowhere near as dominant as they should have been against this Buffalo team. That has to be an area the team focuses on improving in time for the Big Ten schedule.
