Cam Brown, LB

We only got to see Junior linebacker Cam Brown for a half of a game last week. As we know, Brown was forced to serve a suspension for the first half of the season-opener due to a targeting penalty called in last year’s bowl game. It was unfortunate, but PSU had to abide by the rules.

By the time Brown got into the game, it was pretty much already over. Although he was anxious to get out on the field for the first time this season, Brown didn’t have to contribute much — and he didn’t. His final stat line for the afternoon was one tackle.

Offenses shouldn’t get used to that. Brown is most likely heading into week two ready with a chip on his shoulder. We already witnessed a dominant start for the Lions’ defense last week, so we’re anticipating something similar against Buffalo as well. With Brown back in the mix, the linebackers unit just gets a whole lot tougher on the field.
