This week, two former Penn State football stars reunited in the NFL.

The Penn State football program has been working on life without Trace McSorley and Miles Sanders this summer. While they are still expected to be a competitive team within the Big Ten, they are surely missing two of their offensive stars from the 2018 season.

Quarterback Trace McSorley is now playing with the Baltimore Ravens after they called him on the third day of the 2019 NFL Draft. Running back Miles Sanders got his number called a bit earlier, as he was a second-round draft pick for the Philadelphia Eagles.

Since McSorley and Sanders are both in different NFL conferences, there’s a good chance they probably won’t face each other that often in the regular season. During the third week of the preseason though, they did get a chance to reunite. And it wasn’t just for a few hours on gameday.

On Monday, the Baltimore Ravens made a trip to Philadelphia. Despite their game being on Thursday night, both teams agreed to participate in a joint practice days before the actual game. Not too long after the first day’s workout, McSorley and Sanders held a joint interview.
