No. 5 Ohio State – November 23rd, 2019

This will be a matchup that plenty of Penn State fans will be excited to see. However, there will most likely be a lot of PSU fans quite nervous about this one as well. It comes as no secret that Ohio State is a really good football team. But like Penn State, they have their fair share of unknowns as well, which could really affect their 2019 season.

At this point in the year, we will be quite aware of who’s who within the NCAA. PSU could be down for the count while OSU is making a case for the College Football Playoffs. Or, both teams could be well in the mix, and this matchup will determine who truly deserves to represent the Big Ten.

We won’t get ahead of ourselves here, but anything can happen. Just remember, those same questions about Sean Clifford being a first-year full-time starter for the Lions should apply to Ohio State’s Justin Fields, regardless of previous recruiting status.

Plus, the Buckeyes have a brand new head coach this year. While Ohio State has dominated Franklin in the past, this year marks an entirely new era for their program. Will things finally start to change between the Lions and the Buckeyes? We’ll find out when November rolls around this season.
