With the Associated Press releasing the NCAA Top-25 rankings, what’s Penn State football’s current strength of schedule?

We’re officially a little under two weeks away from the start of another NCAA football season. For the last couple of weeks, we’ve noted and analyzed tons of Top-25 rankings from multiple media platforms. This week though, we get what is believed to be the real deal.

The Associated Press released the Top-25 on Monday, and we didn’t really learn anything new about Penn State football heading into this year. Some platforms previously listed them as a team ranked as high as No. 14 on the polls. Others believe that No. 16 is fair for them.

In the eyes of the Associated Press, Penn State belongs at No. 15. Better than some, but on par with most publications who refuse to entirely give up on the Nittany Lions despite a few losses of important players during this offseason. So now that the rankings are out, and we’ve got the Lions’ spot on the list — where do some of their 2019 opponents currently rank?
