Penn State football lands in 4-Star defensive tackle, Jeffrey M’ba’s top-ten school interests as he continues his recruitment.

This offseason, the NCAA experienced tons of changes when it comes to current players on board with a team. Ever since the transfer portal became a factor, teams have experienced gains and losses all across the nation since it became so easy for prospects to pick up and leave.

The transfer portal wasn’t the only downside for some teams roster building as well. There was also a significant amount of decommitments happening as well. Penn State football knows that first-hand since they had their fair share of prospects go back on their word earlier in the summer.

So Penn State got the short end of the stick before when it came to players snatching their verbal commitments away — but who’s to say Penn State can’t earn commitments from players who did the same thing to other schools as well? They haven’t benefitted much from a situation like that yet, but they could very soon as recruits continue to make up their minds about the future.

Soon, Penn State could hear from a former Virginia commit, Jeffrey M’ba as the four-star defensive tackle has decided to release his top-ten interests on Tuesday. Along with the Nittany Lions, M’ba listed Tennessee, Ohio State, West Virginia, Florida State, Michigan, North Carolina, Oregon, Florida, and Virginia once again to his final ten.

M’ba, who’s actually from Paris, France came to the United States of America to Connecticut to pursue football. He was initially on pace to join the Virginia Cavaliers for their 2019 class. Back in June though, M’ba unspecifically announced that he did not actually qualify to join the 2019 class.

Therefore, M’ba had to wait until 2020 to play his college ball. As he was made aware he was not going to be playing in 2019, the six-foot-six, 310-pound defensive tackle decided to open his recruitment back up once again. And suddenly, he’s got eyes for ten other schools.
