Penn State football will break yet another record when it comes to ticket prices for the 2019 NCAA season.

As always, Penn State football is dominating their ticket sales for the upcoming season. They might not be the most winning team in college football as of late, but that hasn’t issued the Nittany Lions any problems with packing in the stands. As we know, Penn State fans show up and show out for most of their sports — but they especially show up when it comes to football.

Last year, Penn State football broke a record for the price of a single game ticket when they hosted the Ohio State Buckeyes. This year, they are expected to exceed that record by $15 when the Michigan Wolverines come to Happy Valley. The game is set for October 19th, and the best single ticket on sale is looking to be around $240. According to the Allentown Morning Call, that’s the most expensive in Beaver Stadium History.

Over the last few weeks, Penn State students were issued the opportunity to buy their season tickets for the 2019 season. And as expected, the demand was so high that the packages only listed for a limited amount of time. Grad students got their opportunity to buy theirs first, and they sold out within 43 minutes of going on sale.

The senior’s tickets went on sale the following day, and they sold out within 28 minutes. The junior class topped that by buying all tickets within 17 minutes, and the sophomores bought all of theirs within 15 minutes. Then, last but not least, the freshmen were clearly excited about getting their season tickets for the first time because they had everything sold out in 14 minutes.

With the student tickets officially out of the way, the next step for next season’s tickets is single game sales, which are set to go on sale on Tuesday, July 2nd, at 10 am EST. According to Mark Wogenrich of the Morning Call, the cheapest seat will be $40 for the game against Buffalo. All others will be a bit more pricier, with limited seats against the rivalry game against Pittsburgh, which are set to be $100 at the cheapest, and going as high as $210
