Penn State Football finds another one of their committed players backing out this week, as Aaryn Parks announces his de-commitment.

This past weekend has been a busy one for the Penn State Football program. As they hosted their Big Man competition in addition to taking on official and unofficial visits, they also experienced some losses in the recruiting pool as well. On Sunday night, the Nittany Lions found out that their first commitment of the 2020 class, Grant Toutant will no longer be headed to Happy Valley next fall. Instead, he will be playing for the Ohio State Buckeyes.

While the loss was significant, nobody at Penn State was really sweating it. However, it looks like they are going to be down two offensive linemen for the 2020 recruiting class. On Wednesday, a four-star offensive tackle out of Fort Washing, Maryland, Aaryn Parks announced his de-commitment from Penn State University.

Unlike Toutant though, Parks doesn’t have any idea of where he plans on playing next year just yet. While he did back away from being one-hundred percent set on Penn State, he isn’t entirely ruling out the Lions for his college career. According to Parks, he will keep Penn State in the mix while he makes his final decision, but right now he’s no longer one-hundred percent set on them.

Where does he go from here?

“I feel as though I made my decision off of emotions and locked in too early without giving other Universities an equal opportunity to recruit me,” Parks tweeted in a statement while announcing his decision to de-commit. Penn State was the only school to get Parks on campus for a visit, and he’s been there on more than a few occasions.

However, his change of heart likely means he will be doing a lot of visiting in the summer and in the fall. Some interested schools of significance include Florida, Michigan, Maryland, and Indiana. The loss of Toutant and Parks now leaves Penn State’s 2020 offensive line class with four guys.
