Secondary

The secondary played a very impressive game, as they only allowed 121 passing yards, although Kentucky only threw the ball 15 times.

Safety Garrett Taylor, who had a very solid season, was second on the team in tackles in this game with 10. He also had a tackle for loss. The other starting safety, Nick Scott, had six tackles.

Cornerback Tariq Castro-Fields played a great game, as he had three tackles, a sack, and a tackle and a half for loss. Cornerback Amani Oruwariye also had two tackles. Oruwariye has been highly touted by NFL Draft scouts, and has a chance to be a first round pick in April.

Next season, Garrett Taylor and Jonathan Sutherland will likely start at safety, while Tariq Castro-Fields, Donovan Johnson, and Zech Mcpherson will likely be the cornerbacks.
