Okay, so this one should be easy. There’s no real nice way to say this, but Rutgers is just not a good football team. Despite traveling on the road this week, the Nittany Lions are not in much danger of getting upset.

Rutgers is scoring under 14 points a game, while allowing over 34. That’s good news for the Nittany Lions.

While I expect Trace McSorley to start in this one, I’m hoping that the Nittany Lions can jump out to a big lead early so that he can give way to Tommy Stevens. I’m expecting some big hookups between McSorley and guys like Pat Freiermuth, Kj Hamler, and Jahan Dotson.

Coming off a huge game last week against Wisconsin, look for another big day from running back Miles Sanders.

On defense, Penn State played a solid game last week. Sure, Jonathan Taylor ran all over the Nittany Lions, but outside of that, the Badgers were unable to muster anything. Penn State’s defensive line has looked fantastic lately, namely Robert Windsor, Shareef Miller, and Yetur Gross-Matos.

True freshman linebacker Micah Parsons has been improving each week, and could also be in store for some big numbers.

This one will be over early, allowing James Franklin the option to rest some of his regular starters. I’m not even expecting this one to start slow as usual. Rutgers will be fired up, especially at home, but the Nittany Lions will prove too much right from the start.
