Penn State Football: Position grades versus Wisconsin
By Dylan Burd
Secondary
The secondary played its best game of the season against Wisconsin, as they completely shut down quarterback Jack Coan and the Wisconsin passing game. Coan only threw for 60 yards, completing just nine of his 20 pass attempts. He also had a QBR of only 2.5.
Penn State’s secondary also had two big interceptions, one of which was to ice the game. Safety Nick Scott, and corner Amani Oruwariye had the interceptions, each of which was their third of the season.

Scott also had four tackles in the game, while Oruwariye had four. Safety Jonathan Sutherland had three tackles, and safety Garrett Taylor and cornerback John Reid has two. Taylor also had a pass defended, while Reid had a tackle for loss.
The secondary will look to end the season strong against Rutgers and Maryland, two teams that have struggled passing the ball all season.
