A season with sky-high expectations has fallen into a brutal letdown for the Penn State faithful. Still, there’s a chance to get a big win this weekend over Wisconsin and keep decent bowl hopes alive. The Nittany Lions must resurrect an offense that had its worst outing in more than two years. It’s unaware which quarterback will get the most reps Saturday, but I’ve got major confidence in Trace McSorley and Tommy Stevens to bounce back.

If they can get even close to 30 points on the board, PSU has a solid chance to win. Nothing against Wisconsin, but the passing game hasn’t set the world on fire and the offense for the Badgers is heavily one-dimensional. With that said, the defense has to shutdown Jonathan Taylor to force Wisconsin into situations it doesn’t want to be in. The linebacker play for Penn State has continued to get better with newcomers to the starting lineup Jan Johnson and Micah Parsons.

I think the defense does enough and the offense rebounds for a big win. Here’s to hoping Penn State can crawl out its woes.

Penn State 27
Wisconsin 20
