Offensive Line

The offensive line was average in this game, similar to all the other games so far this season. On the positive side of things, they helped Penn State gain 118 yards rushing, which is 39 more than the Iowa defense was allowing on average this season.

However on the negative side, the offensive line allowed the Hawkeyes to hurry Trace McSorley three times, and also allowed five tackles for loss, including three sacks. That’s not bad, but not great.

Iowa is a very good football team, and has a great defense, so anything that would normally be average should be upgraded to solid. Credit has to be given to the offensive line for a solid game.
