Penn State Football: Position grades versus Michigan State
By Dylan Burd
Running Backs
Miles Sanders did more than bounce back from his disappointing game against Ohio State. Coming into Saturday’s game, Michigan State had the nation’s number one run defense, only allowing 1.32 yards per carry.
This proved to be no problem at all for Miles Sanders, who had 17 carries for 162 yards and a touchdown with his former teammate Saquon Barkley looking on from the sidelines. The Sanders touchdown was one of the best you’ll ever see.

Sanders didn’t have any receptions, but he was the only part of the offense that was working at all. At this rate, Miles Sanders has a chance to be drafted with the first two rounds of the NFL Draft, if he does declare. He’s been nothing short of spectacular this season, and is now 10th in the nation in rushing yards with 700.
