Penn State followed up its blowout of Pitt with a huge win at home over the Kent State Golden Flashes, 63-10.

Despite some miscues in the first half, Penn State football managed to win their last game of the out of conference schedule by 53 points, led by who else but senior quarterback Trace McSorley. McSorley had his best game of the season, scoring five touchdowns, two passing and three rushing.

Penn State had 643 yards of total offense, the most yards they’ve tallied in a single game in  23 years. The Nittany Lion defense also played exceptional, only allowing ten points, including zero in the second half. They also allowed 221 total yards to the Golden Flashes, including only 41 on the ground.

The dominant win for Penn State was an outlier in terms of the rest of the Big Ten on Saturday, as seven of them fell. Wisconsin, Northwestern, Rutgers, Nebraska, Illinois, Maryland, and Purdue all lost to out-of-conference opponents.

Furthermore, Penn State moved up to No. 10 in the AP Poll after their week three win, and go to Illinois on Friday night to play their first conference game.

It was a great team win overall, so how did each individual position grade out?
