Penn State against Kent State: Prediction Roundtable
Joe Ciminera, Contributor
I thought that this would be the game where Penn State really puts it all together and lays a beatdown. But that happened last week.
It looks like the freshmen are improving, Miles Sanders is showing what made him the number one running back recruit in the country at one time, and KJ Hamler has been one of the most electrifying players in college football. The defense is coming together nicely, frusturating opponents like desperate guys who chase girls out of their league. They let them get to the goal line, but never in the end zone.
The defense will need to be at their best against Kent State quarterback/human battering ram, Woody Barrett. He can beat teams through the air or on the ground, and will be the only chance the flashes have against Penn State.
While Trace McSorley hasn’t been able to really pad his stats yet, this will be a four-touchdown performance for him in a Penn State rout.
