Week 10 of high school football season is in the books. So, here is VBR’s weekly look at how Penn State football commits performed over the weekend.

Throughout the 2017 football season I will take a look at how Penn State football commits perform in their high school football games each week. Even though high school football season is starting to wind down across the country, there is still plenty to talk about after this past weekend.

We will start with this past weekend’s top performer – quarterback Will Levis.

On Saturday, Levis and the Xavier Falcons (CT) lost in overtime to New Haven by a score of 50-49. With the loss, the Falcons are now 3-4 on the season. Despite the loss, Levis had a huge game. Levis completed 24 of 37 passes, he racked up 514 yards of total offense, he threw four touchdowns, and he rushed for a fifth. You can watch his highlights from the game here.

In Pennsylvania, Cathedral Prep and offensive lineman Juice Scruggs defeated Canisius (NY) 31-20 to finish the regular season 10-0. In the game, Scruggs had a pick-six on defense. Linebacker commit Jesse Luketa and the Mercyhurst Prep Lakers had the week off as they prepare for the postseason.
