When Penn State welcomes Michigan to Happy Valley on Saturday night there will be two exceptional defenses playing. Fortunately for the white out crowd, there will only be one good offense playing.

Yes, it’s the one with Saquon Barkley and Trace McSorley.

Penn State will need to fight for every yard against Michigan. That defense can play. We’re deep enough into the season now where they inexperience card doesn’t fly. They will be ready for everything Joe Moorhead and the offense throws at them.

That still might not be enough to stop this high octane attack.

On the flip slide, I don’t see a scenario in which the Michigan offense scores a touchdown. John O’Korn struggled in the one difficult game he played against Michigan State, throwing three interceptions. Penn State will fluster him and the Michigan offense that so badly needs to find an identity will still be searching after leaving Happy Valley.

Penn State will generate enough turnovers to help the offense out and keep Michigan at bay.
