Breaking down the Penn State depth chart for the Northwestern game

Penn State releases their depth chart for their noon game at Northwestern

The Nittany Lions got a comfortable 45-14 victory against Indiana this past Saturday. The Lions looked good in their quasi throwback uniforms too. This Saturday, the Lions travel to Evanston to take on Northwestern. For that game, they released their depth chart.

This week’s depth chart is the same as the previous one with no changes. A few notes coming from the Indiana game though. Tight End Mike Gesicki left the game with an injury and did not return. Perhaps James Franklin will give a vague update about his status during the weekly press conference.

Another thing of note is that Chaz Wright is listed as the starting right tackle, however against Indiana, Will Fries was the primary guy at that position. Andrew Nelson did not dress against the Hoosiers, so we’ll have to keep an eye on the position.

Other than those notes, nothing else to say except keep feeding Saquon Barkley the ball.
