Perhaps Purdue has been unfairly put this week at No. 13. Don’t worry, I hear you Boilermaker fans!  Purdue has been one of the most surprising teams of the Big Ten after two games.  They made a strong case week 1 against Louisville, and they picked up their first win Ohio last week.

Head coach Jeff Brohm has his players believing in his system, and the team has responded well.  The quarterback tandem of David Blough and Elijah Sindelar have Purdue ranked second in passing offense for Big Ten teams.  Their rotation has given Purdue a spark that hasn’t been seen in West Lafayette in some time.

This week the Boilermakers travel to Missouri to take on the Tigers.  This may be one of the better games of the weekend.  Chances are favorable that a lot of points will be scored in this one.  Both Purdue (106) and Missouri (90) rank near the bottom of college football in total team defense.

A strong performance on the road against an SEC school will have Purdue climbing the ladder next week.
