Lets give the Hoosiers credit, they fought hard against Ohio State, one of the top teams in the country.  And, for one half at least, had them on the ropes.  As is typically the case with Indiana football, they ran out of gas in the later stages of the game.  As a result, they fall one spot in our rankings this week, coming in at 10.

Despite the outcome, first-year head coach Tom Allen has the players buying into his core values and the results could pay big dividends.

This week the Hoosiers travel to Charlottesville, Virginia to face off against the Virginia Cavaliers of the ACC.  This game has all the makings of a close affair.  A win on Saturday would go a long way in easing the fears of Hoosier faithful of missing out on a bowl game.
