The Boilermakers put on an impressive display of speed and resiliency this past weekend against No. 16 Louisville.  Purdue struggled to container Heisman Trophy winner Lamar Jackson, but the Boilermaker offense was able to go toe-to-toe with Cardinals defense.

Losing to his alma mater was not how head coach Jeff Brohm envisioned starting his tenure at Purdue, but there were clearly signs of hope for the Boilers.  The rotation of quarterbacks David Blough and Elijah Sindelar will certainly give teams fits throughout the season.  The team will need to cut down their turnovers if they want to pull off upsets during conference play.

This week Purdue opens their home slate by hosting Ohio University.  Becoming bowl eligible seems like a long shot in West Lafayette, but coach Brohm looks to be guiding his Boilermaker squad in the right direction.
