No. 14 –  Rutgers (Last Week – 14)  —

While the Scarlet Knights hold down our bottom spot for the second consecutive week, they played much better than many would have predicted.  They held the Washington Huskies to a modest 30 points.  Head Coach Chris Ash may have his work cut out for him in Piscataway, but he is starting to find a few pieces that could become the foundation of something good for the state university of New Jersey.

The next two weeks feature winnable non-conference games before starting off the Big Ten slate with some difficult contests.  The Scarlet Knights face Eastern Michigan this week and Morgan State the next. After that, things change dramatically.

Rutgers may arguably face the nation’s most difficult schedule.  Currently they are scheduled to face no less than four teams inside the top-10 – yeesh! Don’t be surprised to see the Scarlet Knights remain near the bottom of this list.
