Wisconsin had to overcome a slow start before outlasting the Utah State Aggies last weekend.  After trailing 10-0 into the second quarter, the Badgers found their legs and scored 59 unanswered points.  Wisconsin quarterback Alex Hornibrook threw for 244 yards and 3 TDs while tight end Troy Fumagalli caught five passes for 105 yards and 1 TD.

The lackluster first quarter served as a wake up call for the Wisconsin team.  No doubt head coach Paul Chryst will have his team mentally focused as they play host to Lane Kiffin’s Florida Atlantic Owls.

The Badgers would seem to have the inside track at winning the Big Ten West Division.  They avoid playing crossover games against Penn State and Ohio State.  They host Michigan, Iowa, and Northwestern with a trip to Nebraska coming in early October.
