Special Teams

There weren’t too many glaring plays here, but nothing too spectacular either.

The biggest mistake came on the opening kickoff when Miles Sanders misjudged the kick and had to scramble to avoid a turnover, but Penn State started that drive from their own three and threw an interception the next play.

Adoree Jackson for the most part was bottled up by Penn State’s coverage.  Tyler Davis did not have a field goal attempt but he hit all seven of his extra point attempts.

Blake Gillikin concluded his freshman season by averaging over 50 yards per punt on five attempts.
