Greg Buttle

It was a very close pick for the final spot, but ultimately Greg Buttle is number five.

Until Paul Posluszny broke it, Buttle held the school career tackle record for 30 years and his 343 tackles now stands at number three on that list.  He still holds the record for most tackles in a season with 165 and most tackles in a game at 24.  Not only was Buttle a great tackler, he also was great in coverage with 15 interceptions in his career.

In 1975 his senior year, Buttle was named a consensus All-American. He was drafted in the third round of the 1976 NFL draft.
